This project comprised the subdivision and development in two stages of a five-acre parcel of rezoned agricultural land in the Box Hill medium-density growth precinct. This was the first development to take place in the Hynds Road area where services were not available.
The first stage, completed in 2018, comprised the subdivision of the land into 17 residential lots and a large residue lot. The works included the demolition of existing structures, construction of new roads including a rear lane, and drainage infrastructure. It also required the construction of lead-in water and sewer infrastructure.
To increase amenities in the area, development approval for a 78-place childcare center was obtained in 2019. Construction of the center is in the planning phase.
The second stage of the project was the subdivision of the residue lot into 21 Torrens Title residential lots. In partnership with quality builders, house and land packages were sold in 2021 with construction set to be complete in early 2023.
